DECATUR COUNTY, Georgia (WTVY) - YouTube personality and boxer Jake Paul purchased a South Georgia sporting ranch for $39 million, using earnings from his victory over Mike Tyson.

“I’ve wanted to buy a ranch for the last 15 years,” Paul said on “The Iced Tea Hour, a podcast, as reported by Mansion Global. “It’s always been a dream of mine. I wanted a place where I can wake, hunt, and build a racetrack.”

The ranch is near Lake Seminole in Decatur County, a rural area about 50 miles east of Dothan.

Mansion Global reported that the plantation went on the market in October with an initial price of $42.5 million.

The New York Post and other media also reported the story, which said Paul used $30 million he earned in the Tyson fight last year to buy the property with more than 5,000 acres.

The remodeled main lodge has eight bedrooms and five baths.

Paul will fight Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. this weekend.
