SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) — A woman is in critical condition after being shot multiple times, including once in the face, while sitting in her car on the Northeast Side.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday along Desert View Drive near Perrin Beitel.

Police say they found the 18-year-old woman in her car, crashed into a curb. They say she was shot at least three times, once in the face. She is now in critical condition.

Officers said the woman was there to meet up with some other people, who then shot her.

Investigators say they found shell casings at the scene.

Right now, police have no suspect information.
