VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) —Wild Adventures is proving you don’t need “Mickey money” for big-time fun.

The South Georgia theme park has been named the fourth most affordable theme park in the United States, according to HomeToGo’s 2026 U.S. Summer Travel Survey.

HomeToGo, a major vacation rental marketplace, evaluated 40 U.S. theme parks based on factors like ticket prices, parking fees, nearby lodging and the number of attractions. Wild Adventures stood out for offering a full day of entertainment at a budget-friendly price.

A daily ticket is about $60, and that includes:

• Dozens of rides and water attractions
• Hundreds of animals
• A full summer concert series
• Seasonal and special events

The recognition comes as Wild Adventures continues investing in upgrades during its 30th Anniversary Season. Recent improvements include:

• Expanded Alapaha Trail with 6,000 feet of new wood
• New food and drink options at Walkabout Wings
• A new Spider Monkey Habitat for resident monkeys Mambo and Jojo
• Enhancements to several rides, including the return of Island Falls

With gas prices climbing and vacations getting more expensive, Wild Adventures is positioning itself as an affordable family getaway for those looking for big thrills on a tighter budget.
