THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) — Thomasville police are investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized Tuesday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the 300 block of West Jerger Street at approximately 6:19 p.m. on June 30, after receiving a call about a person being shot.
Upon arrival, officers found a male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The Thomasville Police Department said the case remains an open and active investigation. Police added there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
