ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A hard Freeze this morning turned comfortable in the afternoon as highs rebounded 40 degrees into the low 60s! Heading into the overnight, clouds will steadily build, keeping most of us above freezing. Lows will be in the 30s tonight, with a frost possible in the morning. Wednesday will be cloudy with temperatures in the low-mid 60s. Temperatures moderate through the rest of the work week.

Rain moves in Thursday, and it looks to be a washout. Rain starts in the morning and becomes heavier and widespread in the afternoon. A stray thunderstorm will be possible throughout the day as well. The severe threat is unlikely. A cold front will move in early Friday morning, pushing the rain out and clearing our skies.

Near freezing overnight lows return for the weekend before temperatures become unseasonably warm to begin the week of Christmas!
