ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – Two people were shot and injured on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Albany, according to the Albany Police Department (APD).
The incident occurred around 8:22 p.m. in the 900 block of Cherry Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 17-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and leg. Shortly after, an 18-year-old male was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the buttock.
Both victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Officials said the injuries are not life-threatening.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
