Expansive dense fog breaks later this morning. Clouds hold tight this afternoon with mild mid 70s. More dense fog overnight and then record afternoon warmth expected Friday and Saturday.
Showers and an isolated thunderstorm are expected by Saturday evening. There’s a Marginal Risk for severe storms from 5pm-8pm mainly west of the Flint River. The primary threat is a damaging wind gusts at a 5% chance.
Much cooler air comes Sunday and then a light freeze Monday. It will be even colder Tuesday morning with a more intense freeze. Colder than average temperatures last most of next week.
