COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Coffee County Sheriff Fred Cole confirmed that a house caught fire on Thursday, Jan. 8 near the Bethel Community.

According to Douglas Now, Coffee County firefighters responded to Truelove Road to put the fire out.

No injuries were reported, according to Douglas Now. They also reported that smoke could be seen from several miles away.

The fire is said to have started in the carport area and then spread into the rest of the house, per Douglas Now.
