Description
TODAY: Afternoon highs warm to around 80 degrees. Southern counties from Bainbridge to Valdosta will likely exceed 80, while northern counties will hover around or just below 80.
TOMORROW: More morning fog and a milder start to our Thursday. All of South Georgia should reach the 80s by the afternoon with partly cloudy skies.
FRIDAY: Afternoon warmth in the 80s will build with higher humidity brings slight (20-30%) rain chances too. Not expecting anything widespread or impactful, most of SGA looks to stay dry.
WEEKEND: Slight rain chances hold through the weekend, as temperatures continue to surge to near record warmth into the mid-upper 80s.
NEXT MONDAY: A bump up in afternoon shower and thunderstorm chances (around 40%) keep us away from record high temperatures, barely. Highs in the low 80s are still expected.
MID WEEK NEXT WEEK: Potentially record warm temperatures return, highs reaching into the mid-upper 80s. Our next weather maker comes some time on Thursday. Long range models suggest different times, as one has it coming in late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, while others have it coming in much later on Thursday. Nonetheless, this event will bring our next widespread rainfall.
