Description
ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - State officials have announced today, March 3, that a Georgia candy company is voluntarily recalling some of its popular pecan log roll products due to a packaging mistake.
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper says Stuckey’s Corporation is recalling certain Original Pecan Log Rolls after discovering that some cherry-flavored products were incorrectly packaged.
According to the announcement, several Cherry Pecan Log Rolls were mistakenly placed in wrappers labeled as “Original.” Those wrappers do not list cherry as an ingredient, creating a potential allergen concern for consumers.
The affected items include:
- 2-ounce Original Pecan Log Rolls
- 10-ounce Original Pecan Log Rolls
Consumers who have purchased these products are encouraged to review the packaging carefully and follow any guidance provided by the company.
