ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Definitely trending summer-like with warm, humid days and afternoon/evening showers and storms. On Friday rain chances drop to 30% with isolated afternoon storms as highs top low 90s while feeling like upper 9os.
Into the weekend, Saturday morning muggy with warm mid 70s. Hotter low-mid 90s with triple digits feels like around 100° for the afternoon. Watch for scattered showers and possibly a few strong-severe storms from 4pm to 11pm. SPC has outlined a Slight Risk for our northern counties while a Marginal Risk covers the rest of SGA. Damaging wind gusts and small hail are the storm threats. Stay alert and be prepared.
Then on Sunday rain chances rise and highs drop into the upper 80s but still humid. This summer like weather pattern extends through next week with showers and storms daily. By no means a washout however some days wetter than others and some days rain won’t fall in your yard.
