ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A monetary reward was posted for information on an Albany homicide case, the Albany Police Department (APD) announced Tuesday, Aug. 19. The reward is $2,000, the police department said.

APD posted the reward for information in a deadly shooting that occurred on Aug. 16. The shooting resulted in the death of 24-year-old Rasheed Moore.

APD said the reward will be provided for tips that lead to a conviction. They emphasized that any information can help. They said tipsters can remain anonymous if they so choose.

You can submit tips through the Albany Police Department’s app, the Crime Stoppers tip line at 229-436-TIPS or by calling the APD at 229-302-0756.
