Description
TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - Kracken Pro Wrestling, which started with just 28 fans, now draws in hundreds at shows.
Owner and wrestler Samuel Skaggs says Kracken Pro wrestling is a community project, built to provide entertainment in Tifton and showcase quality wrestling on par with the larger markets.
Shows are family-friendly and affordable, giving small-town residents another space to gather.
Local fans say the events bring energy and excitement not often seen in Tifton.
Wrestling fan, Andrew Elder, said, “When you see the kids hop up in the air, it is really cool. It reflects on an event I realized it when I met a kid who had five poster boards, switching them out with his favorite wrestlers.”
WALB’s Taylor Lewis will also be speaking with writer William Huckaby about how Pro Kracken’s writing connects its fans to its wrestlers.
