KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WKRC) — A dispute over a pizza tip escalated into a violent home invasion and attempted murder, authorities said.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee on Dec. 22, 2024, after receiving reports of a stabbing. Deputies found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition.
Detectives identified 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo as the suspect in the case. According to investigators, the victim had ordered pizza earlier in the evening, and Alvelo became upset about the tip she received.
She allegedly returned to the victim’s motel room with an unidentified male suspect, who was armed with a firearm. The pair forced their way into the room, and Alvelo, armed with a knife, attacked the victim, stabbing them multiple times. Items were also taken from the room.
An arrest warrant was issued for Alvelo on charges of home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault. She was arrested on Dec. 23, 2024, and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond.
