MOSELLE, Miss. (WDAM/Gray News) – Two fathers were killed in a crash on a highway in Mississippi on Christmas Eve.
The Jones County Deputy Coroner identified the two drivers as 17-year-old Luke Davis Jr. and 33-year-old Zebulon Lott.
Davis was a senior at Columbia High School, where he played football. He also was the father to a young boy.
A GoFundMe page says Lott was a husband and father of three.

Davis’ girlfriend, Roxana Grimaldo, said Davis had just left her family’s home when the crash happened.
Grimaldo said her boyfriend was a standout kicker for the Columbia High School Wildcats football team and had his eyes set on a football scholarship.
“He was expecting a scholarship from Mississippi State, Ole Miss or LSU for a kicker,” Grimaldo said.
Family members are still processing what happened.
“[Davis’ family] expected us to come this [Christmas] morning and open presents at their house,” Grimaldo said. “His dad is devastated. He misses his son. That was his only boy.”
Grimaldo said she and her family are trying their best to salvage what’s left of their Christmas.
She said she finds comfort in knowing Davis is at peace.
“I’m glad that he’s in a better place and he didn’t suffer while he was in the accident,” Grimaldo said. “He was going through a lot in his life, and all he wanted was just peace.”
Lott, the other driver, worked in the ICU and was on his way home from working a 12-hour shift, according to the GoFundMe page.
“Unfortunately, Zeb passed away and left behind his wife and their three little boys,” the page reads, which was set up by coworkers.
The crash remains under investigation.
