NEW YORK (TNND) — Brad Lander, New York comptroller and Democratic mayoral candidate, was arrested by federal agents on Tuesday at an immigration court after video showed him linking arms with a person authorities were trying to detain.
Lander's press secretary, Chloe Bristow, shared video of him being cuffed and detained by ICE agents "after asking to see a warrant for people who were detained after an immigration hearing."
Bristow added that he was being held in 26 Federal Plaza.
