ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating Willie B. Colbert, 30, who is wanted in connection with a battery incident that occurred on May 30, 2025.

Colbert, who already has nine prior warrants, allegedly went to his child’s mother’s residence around midnight to retrieve some of his belongings.

According to investigators, when he could not find a specific item, he became agitated, started arguing with the victim, and ultimately grabbed her by the neck, causing visible injuries.

• Name: Willie B. Colbert
• Age: 30
• Height: 5′10″
• Weight: 205 lbs
• Last Known Address: 900 block of Corn Ave., Albany, GA 31701
