THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is asking for the public’s help in locating an absconded sex offender wanted on multiple warrants.

Authorities say Kenneth Laverne Samuel is wanted, including for failure to register as a sex offender. According to the sheriff’s office, Samuel is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.

Anyone with information on Samuel’s whereabouts is urged to contact Lt. Andy Forte at 229-225-3313 or the Investigations Office at 229-225-3315, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours, tips can be reported to 229-225-4151.

Officials say all callers may remain confidential.
