AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) — A man was found with multiple apparent gunshot wounds at about 12:49 a.m. on Jan. 1, in Americus, according to Americus Police Chief Mark Scott.
The incident, which is being investigated as an aggravated assault case, reportedly happened at a residence in the 100 block of Bronco Drive, according to the Americus Police Department (APD).
The 32-year-old victim was given first aid before being transported to Phoebe Sumter, APD said. At this time, the severity of the man’s injuries is unknown.
APD did not disclose any information about a suspect in this case.
