ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A backdoor cold front continues to allow for isolated showers and storms across areas near the Georgia-Florida state line. Shower chances for those near the front will diminish into the night. Areas that receive no rainfall will remain partly cloudy with low temperatures dropping into the mid-60s.
Tuesday will feature a few isolated showers, but most areas will remain dry. Storms are possible, but should remain sub-severe with gusty winds and small hail. Outside of rainfall, temperatures will climb toward the middle to upper 80s for highs and lows into Tuesday night, will drop into the 60s. Areas of dense fog are possible into Wednesday morning.
High pressure builds in for Wednesday and Thursday, allowing for temperatures to climb toward the upper 80s as abundant sunshine takes over. By Friday, a cold front arrives, leading to isolated to scattered showers and storms through Saturday. Isolated severe storms cannot be ruled out before we dry out on Sunday.
