ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — One woman has been arrested and one man is still wanted in connection to a shooting that left one man injured.

Albany Police Chief Michael Persley said the shooting incident happened Monday, April 21, in the 900 block of Holloway Avenue.

WALB previously reported that a 32-year-old man was found shot while officers were patrolling the area. Officers then saw an unknown man dressed in black come out to the courtyard and shoot into a vehicle. This led to a foot pursuit with the suspect, but he police lost him in the Cotton Avenue area.

On Thursday, April 24, Raven Shavers was arrested and charged with aggravated assault involving a firearm. She is being held in the Dougherty County Jail.

Now, the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating Armond DeGregory West, 22, who is also wanted for aggravated assault involving a firearm in relation to this shooting.

APD says West’s last known address is in the 600 block of Sands Drive.

Authorities urge anyone with information on West’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at (229) 431-2100.
