OCILLA, Ga. (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday that left one person dead and another in critical condition.

The Ocilla Police Department requested GBI assistance with the shooting investigation on April 4.

One victim, Marquavious Da’shawn Westbrook, 19, was killed, according to his mother and stepfather.

Another victim, Damonee Crumedy, 20, is in critical condition in the ICU at Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center, according to his mother, Tequesta Crumedy.

The GBI said it will provide updates once details are available.
