QUITMAN, Ga. (WALB) - The Brooks County Sheriff’s Office and fire department are battling a house fire on Hickory Head Road.
The sheriff’s office has requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the State Fire Marshal’s Office to assist in the investigation.
Officials are urging residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes as emergency personnel continue to work.
