VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - The Kappa Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Concerned Clergy of Valdosta are hosting a voting information meeting.

Dr. Samuel Clemons Sr., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, said the event is a nonpartisan event that will focus on the importance of voting.

Clemons said members will check the voting status and correct precincts for attendees, giving out sample ballots.

The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Big Nick’s in Valdosta.

Organizers said free breakfast will be served.
