CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced that an accident the morning of May 1 resulted in a fatality.

CCSO said the single-vehicle accident was on Lake Park Drive at about 11:20 a.m.

They said multiple public safety agencies responded including Georgia State Patrol (GSP), Crisp County Fire Rescue, Cordele Fire Department, Crisp County EMA and the sheriff’s office.

The announcement said that GSP is investigating. No further details have been released about the accident or the fatality at this time.
