ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) -The Albany Police Department (APD) is investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this evening.

The shooting took place in the 1600 block of West Highland Avenue.

APD responded to the shooting around 4:37 p.m. to find two victims who were injured. Both victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

19-year-old Jamarion King died from his injures.
