WASHINGTON (TNND) — The countdown is on, there are officially two weeks until Election Day, and all eyes are on the key swing states.

The seven key swing states, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada, have the power to decide who wins the White House. President Biden won six out of those seven in 2020. The only one he didn’t win was North Carolina.

Though, some swing states hold more power than others. Pennsylvania has 19 electoral college votes, the most out of all the swing states, and it also was the state that tipped the race in Biden's favor back in 2020. But it hasn't been consistently blue, rewind to 2016 and Trump beat the odds and was the first Republican to win Pennsylvania since 1988.

These swing states haven't always been the same though. As demographics in the U.S. have shifted over the last ten years, the swing states have shifted as well. For example, back in 2012, Florida was considered a swing state, with Former President Obama winning Florida in both 2008 and 2012. But, with population growth in the Sunshine State, it’s become more reliable for the GOP with Trump winning both in 2016 and 2020.

Voters' top concern in all of the swing states, and nationally, is the economy. Other concerns rank high as well. Apoll done by Spotlight PA found Pennsylvania voters’ second highest concern is the future of democracy.

Immigration is a top issue for voters in Arizona, a border state. A CBS News polltaken in May found that 52% of Arizona voters said recent immigrants from Mexico and Latin America had made life in Arizona worse. Another poll from Suffolk University/USA TODAY found Trump has a six-point lead in Arizona.

Among those voters who said inflation/economy is the No. 1 issue, Trump leads Harris 75%-17%, and among those who said immigration is the most important issue Trump leads 81%-11%.
