ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - As a high-pressure system slides eastward into the Atlantic Ocean, we remain dry but easterly winds usher in some low-level moisture. This will result in a few clouds and areas of fog on Monday morning with low temperatures dropping into the upper 30s and 40s. Dense fog is possible for those east of Highway 19.

The rest of Monday is sunny and warm in the 70s. Clouds will be few and far between and this quiet and dry pattern will last most of the week. Temperatures will be well above average in terms of highs and lows. Low temperatures on Tuesday start to climb from the mid-40s into the upper 50s and low 60s by the weekend. Highs will climb from the low to mid-70s towards the upper 70s to the low 80s. The only chance for rain is Thursday into Friday, but the chances remain low around 20%.
