COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A person was injured after a Saturday night crash in Coffee County.

According to Georgia State Patrol (GSP), a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro was headed south on GA 135 and a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt was stopped at GA 15 waiting to turn left onto Harvey Vickers Road.

GSP said the driver of the Camaro was following the Cobalt too close and ran into the back of the car.

The impact caused the Cobalt to travel into the northbound lane of GA 135 into the path of the 2021 Chevrolet. The Cobalt then hit a 2021 Chevrolet head-on at the intersection of Harvey Vickers Road.

The driver of the Camaro was taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center with injuries. The driver was also charged with following too close.
