ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A South Georgia lottery player is about to become a millionaire.
Clerks at the BP Convenience Store on Dawson Road in Albany say they sold a $3 million scratch-off lottery ticket two days ago.
The $30 ticket was part of the $3,000 Festive Frenzy” game. It was one of three tickets printed with the top prize. So far, only one of those winning tickets has been claimed.
The biggest payout for scratch-off lottery tickets in Georgia is $5 million. Eight of those winning tickets are printed for the $50 “Jumbo Bucks Extravaganza” game, and three are printed for the $30 “Max the Money” game.
