ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Several events are planned across South Georgia for the Fourth of July on Saturday, including fireworks shows, live music, food vendors, and family activities.

Stonebridge Golf & Country Club

Stonebridge Golf & Country Club will host a Fourth of July celebration from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 319 Osprey Ridge Ct. in Albany. The event will feature food, outdoor games, live music, family activities, and a fireworks show.

Adult plates are $25 and include brisket, ribs, deviled eggs, baked beans, and potato salad. Kids plates are $5 and include a hot dog, chips, a drink, and a popsicle.

The country club is asking attendees to bring family, friends, and patriotic spirit as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday.

City of Albany Fireworks at the Exchange Club Grounds

The city of Albany will host its Fourth of July fireworks show at the Exchange Club grounds, located at 810 South Westover Road in Albany. Gates open at 3 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for later that evening.

Vendors will be on site. The Exchange Club said it will assist with parking this year and is urging attendees to bring blankets and chairs.

Leesburg Police Department Celebration

The Leesburg Police Department is welcoming families to celebrate at 107 Walnut Ave North in Leesburg from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will feature a fireworks show with the Swinging Medallions as the headlining act, along with vendors, free parking, and a free concert.
