WORTH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Worth County tax commissioner’s office is now accepting tax payments for 2025.

Lakeysia McGill, tax commissioner, informed residents that their bills have been mailed out. Residents have the option to come into the office to pay early or wait until their bills arrive in the mail.

The county is offering different ways to pay:

• Pay in the office, 201 Main Street, Sylvester.
• By phone 1-844-314-4868 or 229-776-8204
• Online at worthcountytax.com

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Property taxes are due on Feb. 16, 2026.
