ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - On Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4, WALB hosted its annual Days of Giving Food Drive, partnering with Feeding the Valley, at the station on Stuart Avenue.

This drive collected 10,206 pounds of food and financial donations of $18,306.11. With both the food and monetary donations combined, these totals represent 118,342 meals to citizens in need in Albany.

$6,500 of that $18,306.11 came from Jack’s Restaurants; however, even with that sizeable donation, it was still a record amount for financial donations received.

WALB is proud to help serve the Albany area through initiatives like our annual Days of Giving!
