PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 39-year-old woman was arrested at a luxury hotel in Palm Beach after allegedly offering "friends with benefits" services for $3,000.
The Palm Beach Police Department (PBPD) said that on April 2, officers learned that a woman named Alina Shimova was looking for "friends with benefits" in exchange for $3,000 at the Brazilian Court Hotel on Palm Beach Island.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an undercover officer first contacted Shimova, 39, on April 16 through text message after learning about her advertisement. The officer reportedly expressed interest, and Shimova set the rate to $1,000, accompanied by a rose emoji, a symbol often associated with sex work.
The report states that during their communication, she informed the undercover officer that a minimum of two hours would be required, and when he proposed four hours, she quoted a price of $4,000, again sending a rose emoji. Shimova also requested a deposit and asked for assurances that the officer was not law enforcement, to which he suggested she could be the one scamming him.

PBPD said that the two met in the hotel bar at 7:34 p.m. on April 17, where Shimova reportedly stated, “everything goes and she doesn’t waste time.” When the officer inquired about various sexual acts, she allegedly consented, saying, “Yes, that would be so good.”
According to officials, at this point, the police moved in and arrested Shimova. During a search of her bag, officers reported discovering five condoms, lubricant, and cash.
Shimova has been accused of offering prostitution.
