Description
MONDAY PM: Heavy downpours with a few rumbles of thunder will stick around this afternoon, mainly staying to the eastern half of the area. A stationary front near the AL/GA line will bring drier air behind it, cutting off the supply for rain chances in our more western communities. Temperatures will warm to below average levels this afternoon in the mid-upper 80s with a mix of clouds and sun.
TUESDAY: A weak low will form to the north as the stationary front tries to advance eastward. This will provide slightly better rain chances across the area during the afternoon hours. This will help keep us cooler, mostly in the 80s.
MID-LATE WEEK: We gradually warm the rest of the work week into the 90s with slight to scattered afternoon showers and storms.
WEEKEND: Seasonable heat with scattered afternoon showers and storms.
