Senate Majority Leader John Thune says he’ll bring up a bill this week to pay military troops and some other federal workers during the shutdown, but he expects Democrats to oppose it since it doesn’t pay all federal workers. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is looking for ways to pay air traffic controllers during the shutdown.
