DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) – Douglas Police are investigating a death reported on October 18 that is linked to a previous incident.

According to officials, the Douglas Police Department launched an active investigation after a death was reported at Coffee Regional Medical Center in connection with an earlier incident.

Authorities are gathering information and interviewing witnesses to understand the circumstances surrounding the death.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
