VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — The City of Valdosta is launching new billing software system on July 1, 2026.

Customers who currently pay online will need to create a new online payment account on or after July 1 to continue paying their bills online. The city’s online payment portal will be down for maintenance from June 19 through July 1. Customers will not be able to pay online during that time, but no late fees will be charged for bills due in that window.

The customer service office will be closed to walk-ins on June 22 and 23, and again on June 29 and 30. Staff will still answer phone calls and emails, and no late fees will be added for bills due on those dates.

City officials said the new system will offer better account management and a more user-friendly online experience. More details will be available on the city’s website and social media.
