ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — [UPDATE - Feb. 12, 10:55 a.m.:] - Investigators have since identified a suspect as Desmore Mack. At this time, charges have not been released, and police have not shared additional details regarding the case.

[ORIGINAL ARTICLE:] Albany Police (APD) responded Wednesday, Feb. 11, at about 5:52 p.m. to reports of gunfire near a convenience store in South Albany.
The store is Homerun Foods on West Oakridge Drive and South Slappey Boulevard.
A gray Chevrolet Silverado parked outside the store appears to have approximately five bullet holes in it, as well as broken windows. The truck was marked off by crime scene tape.
APD said that two men wearing hoodies fired at the truck after exiting an SUV. The men reportedly fled on East Oakridge Drive.
Officials said no one was injured in this case.
