[UPDATE] ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - WALB has learned that the missing Albany teen has returned home safely.

Police previously asked for the public’s help locating the 15-year-old, who was reported missing on Sept. 26.

Officials say he returned home on Sept. 29.

[ORIGINAL] - The Albany Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 15-year-old boy.

Police say De’Andre Thomas was reported missing on Sept. 26.

Thomas is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has a small build, black hair and brown eyes.

According to police, Thomas was last described as wearing gray Adidas joggers with white stripes, a black hoodie and black Jordan shoes with white shoelaces.

Police say he may be in the Woodlands Apartments with his juvenile stepbrother.

Anyone with information about Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to call Albany Police at 229-431-2100 or the non-emergency line at 229-431-2132.
