CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) - Several roads in Camilla will be temporarily closed Thursday, Oct. 1, for the Mitchell County High School Homecoming Parade.

The closures will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the parade scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

The parade will start at the Mitchell County Board of Education on S. Harney Street and travel north to Stephens Street. It will then cross Stephens Street to S. Scott Street, continue north, turn right onto Broad Street and travel east to Perry Street, where the parade will end.

Temporary road closures will include:

• Broad Street from S. Butler Street to Perry Street
• S. Harney Street from Morgan Street to Broad Street
• Stephens Street from S. Scott Street to S. Harney Street
• S. Boulevard Street to Broad Street
• Oakland Avenue at N. Scott Street
• Oakland Avenue at N. Harney Street

Traffic heading northbound on Cairo Road/S. Boulevard Street will be redirected to S. Butler Street.

All roads are expected to reopen once the parade ends.
