VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WPEC) — A boat spinning in circles with an unresponsive boater prompted a rescue mission from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and firefighters.
On Tuesday, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VSO) responded to Lake Dias after receiving reports about the boat.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel developed a rescue plan. A video shows a Marine Unit crew moving closer to the boat, allowing Volusia County Fire Rescue (VCFR) to board and stop the spinning boat, safely bringing the boater back to shore.
Officials reported that the boater is expected to make a full recovery.
