ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Georgia cornerback Daniel Harris has joined a long line of Bulldog players arrested and charged with reckless driving.
According to a police report, Harris was clocked going 106 miles per hour on a wet, rainy GA 10 Thursday night. An officer stopped Harris, who was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee with an expired tag.
The report said Harris was not wearing his seatbelt at the time and the driver’s side window was overly tinted.
Harris was charged with reckless driving, use of safety belts in passenger vehicles, operation of an unregistered vehicle without a current license plate, no proof of insurance and affixing materials that reduce the visibility of windows.

Reckless driving is a recurring problem for Kirby Smart’s program; speed was reportedly a factor in the crash that killed player Devin Willock last year, and former Dawgs star Jalen Carter plead no contest to reckless driving charges in relation to the crash.
Willock’s family and another staffer filed lawsuits against the university.
Several players have been arrested and charged with reckless driving since the fatal crash, including linebacker Smael Mondon, offensive lineman Bo Hughley, cornerback Demello Jones, wide receiver Sacovie White and wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint.
Georgia takes on Kentucky tomorrow in Lexington.
