ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center of Albany Humane Society is asking for donations after a pipe burst at the shelter.
The shelter said that the animals are all safe, but the pipe is how they get water to the kennels, according to the Facebook post.
“We’ve put a ‘bandaid’ on it for now, but we urgently need to replace the pipes to prevent this from happening again,” said the post.
The plumbing in the shelter is 50 years old, however, repairs are costly.
Every dollar donated will be doubled thanks to the $10,000 PAW-liday Giving Match.
