ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - During our Days of Giving Food Drive in partnership with Feeding the Valley Food Bank, we collected more than 9,000 pounds of food.

Those 9,000 pounds of food equate to 39,000 meals for families who need it most in South Georgia.

However, the need goes beyond the holiday season.

WALB talked with Feeding the Valley’s Albany Facility Manager who is asking for the public’s help year-round.
