The Trump administration is planning to announce a freeze on $510 million of federal funding for Brown University, according to the New York Times.
The University is one of several now facing a federal funding freeze.
His administration has previously said it will take federal money from colleges that defy his agenda on issues including diversity, equity and inclusion programs, transgender athletes’ participation in women’s sports, and student protests that he deems “illegal.”

According to the New York Times, two White House officials said the administration is pausing the funds over allegations of antisemitism on Brown’s campus.
The Brown Daily Herald reported the university says they do not have any information to confirm the funding freeze.
