WORTH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – A traffic shift is scheduled for Thursday, July 10, as part of ongoing construction on State Route 133 (SR 133) in Worth County.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the contractor working on the widening and reconstruction project for SR 133 will implement the traffic shift this week. The affected area stretches from north of the Colquitt County line to north of SR 112.
Traffic will temporarily move to newly constructed lanes just south of Bridgeboro Road/Anderson City Road, then return to the current alignment just north of the same intersection.
Drivers are urged to slow down in the work zone and remain alert for signage and lane shifts.
GDOT reminds motorists that safety is the top priority during road construction and encourages everyone to use caution and patience while navigating the changes.
