TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - The city manager of Tifton has resigned after just four months on the job.
The city announced Jeff Shoobridge’s resignation on Monday. He was hired in October 2025.
City officials did not provide a reason for Shoobridge’s resignation. He is the second city manager to leave the position in less than two years.
In 2024, former City Manager Emily Beeman was placed on administrative leave and later resigned following an executive session.
City officials say a transition plan is in place and will be presented for approval at the city council meeting on Thursday, February 12.
