NASHVILLE , Ga. (WALB) - Nashville Police are warning residents about a bond scam targeting people who need bonding services.
The Nashville Police Department said scammers are posing as legitimate bonding services.

Police said if someone is arrested by the department, families must contact police directly. No bonding service will reach out directly to ask for payment.
Officials urge residents to avoid sending money through electronic payment apps such as CashApp and other similar services.
Anyone with information can contact the Nashville Police Department at 229-686-6558 or call the Berrien County Jail.
