CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) — The GBI arrested three teens on April 9 in connection with a shooting that injured two people.

Authorities arrested 17-year-old Cornez Jackson and two 16-year-olds. The GBI has not released the names of the two 16-year-olds.

Jackson faces aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The two 16-year-olds face tampering with evidence and other charges. One of them is also charged with aggravated assault.

On April 7, the GBI says officers responded to a shooting near Tombs Park. The GBI says Jackson and several other minors got into a fight before the shooting.

Both victims were hospitalized and later released.

The investigation is ongoing.
